Tameka White brings over 20 years of experience as a compassionate caregiver, medical aide, and healthcare coordinator. Her journey in healthcare began at the young age of twelve when her sister was born with cerebral palsy, sparking a lifelong passion for serving others. From her early days as a Candy Striper to becoming a Medical Assistant and later a successful child care center owner and operator for 15 years, Tameka has consistently demonstrated her dedication to improving the lives of those in her care.

With deep expertise in working with seniors—particularly those facing dementia and Alzheimer’s—Tameka is known for her ability to build strong, trust-based connections with clients and families. She focuses on ensuring the best client-caregiver match by blending personality, skills, and compassion, ultimately creating a positive and supportive home care experience.

Her extensive background includes caring for loved ones with complex needs, including her sister, grandmother, and mother, which gives her a unique perspective and heartfelt commitment to end-of-life and hospice care. Tameka’s attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and unwavering reliability make her a trusted professional in the healthcare community.

About Angela McVay, LPN

With over 22 years of nursing experience, I have dedicated my life to caring for others with compassion, professionalism, and heart. My journey in healthcare began as a Candy Striper, inspired by my mother’s service in the 1970s, and quickly grew into a lifelong passion for helping others.

I have worked in a variety of roles, including Home Health Aide, Certified Medical Assistant, and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Over the years, I’ve gained invaluable experience in home health, travel nursing, community care, mental health nursing, respite care, corrections nursing, and both skilled and non-skilled in-home care.

What I love most about my work is connecting with people and supporting them in their unique needs. I have a special passion for working with:

• Seniors, especially those facing dementia and aging challenges

• Individuals navigating mental health needs

• Wound care patients

• Children and vulnerable populations

Beyond nursing, I enjoy life’s simple joys—bingo, bowling, movies, and spending time with loved ones. Cooking and laughter are some of my favorite remedies, as they nourish the soul while burning away stress.

My philosophy is simple: care with dignity, compassion, and professionalism. Every patient I meet is treated like family, and my greatest reward is knowing I can bring comfort, safety, and a smile to those I serve.
